Update: We've included a walkthrough of Home below from the official portal.
The home of PlayStation, PlayStation.com is finally including a section for its much anticipated, social networking application, Home. This section features everything any gamer would need to know about Home. Considering the Home team has finally expanded its private beta to 100,000 more PS3 owners, this is yet another step in the right direction and to the public release.
As many of you are painstakingly aware, Home has seen its fair share of delays and disappointing news, but with all of these new steps, it seems we're almost Home.
"PlayStation Home is a 3D social gaming community that allows PS3 users to meet, chat, plan, and launch into games together. You can create your own custom avatar, decorate your personal apartment, play mini-games, shop, watch videos, attend special events, and much more - it's all part of PlayStation Home." - Official website.
The site has been updated with the video below.

I just got an invite the other day to the Home Beta. i was totally surprised cuz im not a Qore subscriber and i havent signed up anywhere online, however i did download that PlayStation Network theme lol. and im also very active online so that helps. but yeah, for anyone that wants to know, it's very 'limited' right now cuz they are load testing the servers, but i can definitely tell you, it has GREAT potential to be something big.

i tired of the home negetivity..... Home is what you make it its as simple as that and if i was Sony farther down the line i would put the PSN STORE in the home mall. just so the people who they have no reason to go in Home have to go on or put exclusive traliers in it thats not in the store.

I'm sick of the beta and sicker of Beta v1.0. A new clubhouse (wow, sorry I mean yawn).
The sooner they get this out the better, then everyone can agree, it was an utter waste of time.
I did find it interesting that all the items I'd purchased from the mall for my Summer House and Apartment has vanished and now when you visit the mall and enter shops it provides a online store link (in other words, they are hoping people will buy pot plants, knick knacks and furniture with REAL money).
